KYC & AML Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Policy describes the identity verification process required for all users of Open Claw Capital (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies to the public website, Telegram bot, and Telegram mini-app (collectively, the “Platform”).
1. Purpose
We are committed to preventing fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. KYC verification helps us confirm the identity of our users, protect the integrity of the Platform, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
2. When KYC Is Required
KYC verification is compulsory before any withdrawal request can be processed. Users may deposit, invest, and use other Platform features before completing KYC, but withdrawal functionality remains unavailable until identity verification is approved by our admin team.
3. Information and Documents Required
To complete KYC, each user must submit the following through the mini-app profile section:
- Legal first name and last name;
- National ID number (or equivalent government-issued identification number);
- A clear photograph of the front of the national ID;
- A clear photograph of the back of the national ID.
All submitted information must be accurate, complete, and match the documents provided. Documents must be legible, unaltered, and not expired.
4. Verification and Review Process
After submission, our admin team reviews the application. The status is updated to pending during review. We may request additional documentation or clarification if the submitted images are unclear, incomplete, or inconsistent. Reviews are typically completed as soon as possible, but processing times may vary depending on volume.
5. Approval, Rejection, and Resubmission
Once reviewed, the application will be either approved or rejected. If approved, the user’s KYC status is updated and withdrawal requests become permitted. If rejected, the user will be informed and may resubmit corrected or clearer documents. Repeated submissions of fraudulent or inconsistent information may result in account suspension.
6. User Obligations
Users must:
- Provide true, accurate, and complete information;
- Keep their identity documents valid and up to date;
- Notify us if their submitted information changes;
- Not use false, stolen, or third-party identities.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides fraudulent information or refuses to complete KYC when required.
7. Data Handling and Security
KYC documents and personal information are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized administrators. We use encrypted storage, access controls, and audit logging to protect this data. ID images are not publicly accessible and are only served through authenticated admin endpoints. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
8. AML Monitoring and Restrictions
We monitor account activity for suspicious behavior, including unusual transaction patterns, rapid deposits and withdrawals, and attempts to circumvent verification. We may delay, reject, or report suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities as required by law. We do not knowingly provide services to users in jurisdictions where such services are prohibited or to users listed on sanctions lists.
9. Record Retention
KYC records are retained for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, regulatory, and dispute-resolution requirements. Users may request deletion of their account in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable retention obligations.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this KYC & AML Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
